Program Assistant (PA)

Program Assistants (PAs) are MHSC skaters aged 11+ who support our PreCanSkate, CanSkate, and Power Skating programs. Through Skate Canada Program Assistant training—provided at no cost at the start of the season and as needed throughout the year—our PAs develop leadership skills while mentoring and encouraging younger skaters in a positive, inclusive environment. They are knowledgeable, supportive role models who help create a safe and welcoming experience for all participants. Skaters interested in becoming a PA or PA in Training are encouraged to speak with their coach or contact the Club office for more information.

Program Assistant in Training – These assistants are under the age of 11 and begin developing the foundational skills, confidence, and leadership qualities needed to support our programs in future seasons.
